Ovulation Induction (OI)

Ovulation induction is a fertility treatment for women who do not ovulate, usually presenting as irregular or even completely absent periods. The most common cause for this is a condition known as Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS).

Treatment is usually with clomifene tablets or FSH injections. During your treatment, you will require regular scans to monitor the response of your ovaries. ‘Spontaneous’ conception through intercourse often happens, or we can offer you IUI treatment if required.
