”Mr Ozkan Ozturk is a fertility and gynaecology consultant at the Centre for Reproductive and Genetic Health (CRGH). He has 25 years of experience.
Along with an excellent, highly skillful, dedicated medical, embryology, nursing and administrative team, over more than two decades and at increasing levels of seniority, Mr Ozturk has been instrumental in building the working practices of the CRGH.
Mr Ozturk graduated in medicine in 1989. After receiving his MD research degree and completing his specialist and subspecialist training at University College London Hospital (UCLH), he was appointed Consultant Gynaecologist and Senior Lecturer at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and privately at the CRGH, where from 2010 to 2022 he was the Deputy Medical Director and in 2023, the Medical Director. Mr Ozturk has a Master’s degree in Business Administration and holds the title of Associate Professor in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
His active research interest is on quality assessment in fertility treatments, clinical factors affecting the egg, embryo quality and embryo implantation with direct clinical applications to improve the chances of achieving pregnancy. He is published widely on reproductive medicine and the biology of early pregnancy.
Mr Ozturk has particular interest and expertise in the management of previously failed fertility treatments (recurrent implantation failures), low ovarian response to stimulation (reduced ovarian reserve), recurrent miscarriages, reproductive endocrinology and immunology, male factor subfertility and hysteroscopic surgeries.
Reflecting the CRGH ethos, Mr Ozturk believes in empowering individuals and couples seeking fertility advice and treatment, to feel well-informed and safe.
