Before clinics can authorise a transport, they must carry out certain import/export checks to ensure the shipment complies with the local laws of the countries involved. This is an administrative process, and the time required will vary depending on the specific case. The good news is, once authorisation is granted by the clinics, CT Shipper can step in to arrange the shipping.

As a CRGH-owned company, we operate under a stringent quality management system and have fertility medical professionals on hand to assist if needed.
What is CT Shipper’s relationship with CRGH?
CT Shipper is CRGH’s in-house courier service. We work directly on-site at CRGH, coordinating closely with the embryology department to provide seamless, efficient and secure transport for all patient needs – both domestic and international.
Do I have to be a patient at CRGH to use CT Shipper’s courier service?
No, you do not need to be a CRGH patient to use our courier service. If you are registered at another clinic and require transport services, simply email us at [email protected], and we’ll be happy to provide a personalised quote.
How will I know if my shipment is safe in transit?
Our courier personally handles your shipment throughout and never hands it over to a third party. A record of distribution is maintained, showing when your samples were collected and delivered. We can also provide a temperature log to confirm safe storage conditions throughout the journey. When possible, couriers are available to provide live updates during transit.
Can any problems occur during the transport?
Most of our shipments run smoothly, but rare events outside of our control – such as traffic, delays or cancellations – may affect transport times. As we interact with various authorities and individuals along the way, we occasionally encounter challenges, usually due to a lack of awareness regarding the protocols for transporting such precious samples. Our couriers remain calm under pressure and are skilled problem-solvers, which has allowed us to successfully complete every shipment to date.
Will my samples be safe if the transport is delayed?
Delays are extremely rare, and if they do occur, they’re usually due to external factors. Our transport shippers are designed to maintain the required cryogenic temperature for up to 15 days without the need for additional liquid nitrogen. In addition, we have fertility medical professionals on hand at CRGH for support if necessary. Your samples will remain safe, even in the event of unexpected delays.
How much will my transport cost?
Courier fees depend on the location of the clinics, the timeframe, and the urgency. With so many fertility clinics worldwide, we can provide an accurate fee quote once we know the details of your shipment. Please contact [email protected] for a formal quote.
Are there any additional fees to consider?
The courier fee we quote is final and includes all CT Shipper-related charges. However, you should check directly with the exporting and importing clinics regarding any extra fees they may charge – such as import/export administration or storage costs.
