Ms. Yeliz Atik, MBBS, MD, joins CRGH as a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist, bringing over 20 years of international experience in women’s health. After completing her specialist training in Turkey, Ms. Atik moved to the UK to further her expertise in reproductive medicine, which included a prestigious tenure at University College London Hospital (UCLH).

Revolutionising diagnostics for endometriosis and adenomyosis

One of Ms. Atik’s core clinical strengths is her specialism in advanced gynaecological imaging. By utilising state-of-the-art diagnostic tools like 3DSIS (3D Saline Infusion Sonography) and HyCoSy (Hysterosalpingo-Contrast-Sonography), she provides patients with a thorough assessment right at the start of their fertility journey.

This level of detailed imaging is key for patients dealing with complex conditions such as:

Also joining our senior clinical team is Mr. Onur Basegmez, MD, MRCOG. A graduate of Marmara University in Istanbul, Mr. Basegmez received extensive training in In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) at Acıbadem University, which is a globally recognised institution for providing medical education.

Having practiced in the UK for over five years, Mr. Basegmez has earned a reputation for managing intricate fertility treatment pathways with an unwavering focus on continuity of care.

What sets Mr. Basegmez apart is his academic and research background. Holding a master’s degree in Stem Cell Engineering from Istinye University, he bridges the gap between high-level laboratory research and clinical practice.
