About
Dr Georgios Bakolas is a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. He completed his Specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Athens, and he was further specialised in the subjects of endoscopic surgery, ambulatory gynaecology and subfertility in the UK.
He completed his Master’s degree at the University of Athens, with his thesis on the Management of Invasive Placentation. He is a European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (ESGE) certified Laparoscopic and Hysteroscopic Surgeon, and he is a member of British Fertility Society.
Dr Georgios Bakolas is highly skilled in hysteroscopy, and he also performs the procedures of IUI, embryo transfer and oocyte retrieval at CRGH. His special interests include fertility preservation oriented endoscopic surgery, social and medical oocyte cryopreservation and early pregnancy.
He aims to provide individualised care and support throughout the fertility journey and promote fertility awareness.
