Mr Wael Saab has been a pivotal addition to the CRGH team since 2007 as a fertility consultant and Clinical Director. He has over 16 years of experience in the field of fertility. His contributions to the field were recognized with his appointment as an Honorary Associate Professor at UCL. Notably, Mr Saab has achieved the title of Fellow, Clinical Reproductive Immunology, from the American Society for Reproductive Immunology. His unparalleled proficiency has been crucial to the resounding triumph of the CRGH, where he has created several pathways to deliver top-quality patient care. He has specialised in obstetrics and gynaecology, with a prime focus on providing treatment to infertile patients. It is worth mentioning that he ranked among the top one percent in international medical exams while training, further substantiating his remarkable competence in the field.
Mr Saab is highly skilled in gynaecologic ultrasound, 3-Dimensional pelvic scanning and early first trimester ultrasound and operative gynaecology including abdominal egg retrievals. He also has a bachelor’s degree in biology with distinction. His broad knowledge in different fields of medicine made him interested in research.

Mr Saab is a fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, British Fertility Society, American Society of Reproductive Immunology and the British Medical Acupuncture Society. He is experienced in Reproductive Immunology and the management of recurrent IVF failures. He has set up the reproductive immunology programme at CRGH. He has publications in renowned journals in reproductive immunology. The responsibility of training subspecialist trainees in Reproductive medicine from UCLH, junior doctors and supervising nursing staff, falls under his realm. Academically, he lectures nationally and internationally.

Dr Saab’s special interest encompasses reproductive immunology, recurrent implantation failure, male factor infertility, recurrent miscarriages, fertility preservation, management of poor ovarian responders, oocyte recipient cycles and PGT-A/ M cycles.
