About
Mr Wael Saab has been a transformative force at CRGH since 2007, now serving as Medical Director at CRGH. With around 2 decades of distinguished experience in reproductive medicine, his exceptional contributions have earned him recognition as an Honorary Associate Professor at University College London (UCL) and Fellowship in Clinical Reproductive Immunology from the American Society for Reproductive Immunology. Mr Saab is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, a member of the British Fertility Society, and a member of the British Medical Acupuncture Society.
Mr Saab’s academic excellence is evidenced by his ranking in the top 1% of international medical examinations during training, alongside a bachelor’s degree in biology with distinction. This rigorous foundation has been instrumental in establishing CRGH’s reputation for delivering world-class fertility care.
A true innovator, Mr Saab established the Reproductive Immunology Programme at CRGH, positioning the clinic as a leading centre for managing complex fertility challenges. His expertise encompasses recurrent implantation failure, recurrent miscarriages, male factor infertility, fertility preservation, poor ovarian responders, oocyte recipient cycles, and PGT-A/M cycles.
Specialising in obstetrics and gynaecology with a focus on infertility treatment, Mr Saab is highly skilled in gynaecologic ultrasound, 3-dimensional pelvic scanning, early first trimester ultrasound, and operative gynaecology including complex abdominal egg retrievals. His broad medical knowledge and research interests have resulted in publications in prestigious books and national and international medical journals, with his work accessible through his ORCID profile.
