Meet the Jacksons: Beginning Their Fertility Journey at CRGH
13.10.2025
Life has always been full of adventure for Ed and Lois Jackson.
After a serious accident left Ed with a broken neck a few years ago, the couple have faced life’s challenges with extraordinary strength and optimism. Together, they’ve built a charity, climbed mountains, launched a drinks company, and travelled to some of the most remote corners of the world – all while navigating the everyday ups and downs that come with a busy life.
But now, they’re starting what they call the biggest adventure of all – their journey to start a family.
Starting a New Chapter
Fertility is something that touches so many people, yet it’s still not spoken about as openly as it could be. That’s why Ed and Lois have decided to share their story – the highs, the lows, and everything in between – as they begin fertility treatment here at CRGH.
“It’s something that affects so many people, yet it’s still not talked about nearly enough,” says Lois. “Fertility can be messy, emotional, full of needles, scans and waiting games – the kind of stuff that usually doesn’t make it into the public eye. Although, let’s be honest, some of it probably should.”
Choosing CRGH
Ed and Lois have chosen CRGH for its reputation in providing outstanding success rates and bespoke fertility treatment, delivered by some of the UK’s leading fertility specialists. At CRGH, every patient’s journey is carefully tailored to their individual needs – because no two paths to parenthood are ever the same.

Sharing Their Story
As they continue their fertility journey, Ed and Lois will be opening up about what the process really looks like – the emotional moments, the challenges, and the small victories that make it all worthwhile.
Their openness is brave, honest, and exactly what so many people need to see: that fertility journeys are as varied and human as the people who take them.
“The truth is, we don’t know exactly where this journey is heading,” says Ed. “But we’d love for you to come on it with us.”
At CRGH, we’re honoured to be part of their story – and we look forward to supporting them on what might just be their biggest adventure yet.
